Field Experiences
Teacher Education programs at Purdue University are unlike many teacher education programs at other universities-here students have numerous opportunities to gain real-world, classroom experience prior to graduation. Field experiences help students understand the nature of
teaching by allowing them to observe classes, interact with mentor
teachers, and appreciate teaching as a life-long commitment to learning.
